My oldest daughter graduated college in January of 2005, so it became her turn to get that ever important first car.  I wasn't sure what direction she would take, but much to my surprise, she picked a Pontiac.  A newer Pontiac GTO.  She found it on eBay as well, with only 4K miles.   Powered by the 5.7 Corvette engine, this car is very fast.  Picking a 6 speed, it has all the luxury stuff, plus power everything.  Wow, things have changed so much since the 60’s muscle car era.  This car now becomes the sixth Pontiac in our family.  Three drivers, six cars, that is a good car to driver ratio.  Lets see how that works.

My son updated the look, with Ram Air hood, and Dual exhaust.

This GTO gets to see some car show action as well.

Central Valley Classic Car Show

2nd Place, 2004-2006 GTO

We took two of our cars to this Pontiac show in Madera County CA.  My 1985 Trans Am Convertible, and my daughter's 2004 GTO.  She took second place in her class, and I followed suit by winning third in my event.  We arrived the night before, and were treated to a free BBQ dinner.  After the show, we were on the road again, taking our cars to the Ventura car show the next day.
