On Craig’s list just looking, I saw this car listed. The ad claimed it was a Firehawk convertible, with 60K miles. Original owner, and always dealer serviced, the price seemed way to low to be real. I called the owner, and he explained it was his company car, and that he had dealer papers showing it was a true Firehawk. I showed my son the ad, and asked him what he thought. There are so many fake and fraud ads these days. I called the owner back, and my son and I started the drive to San Diego to check on the car. The owner explained it was his company car, and was selling it because he had a new Mercedes Benz now. He showed us the dealer papers verifying it as a true Firehawk. We signed the papers, left the deposit, and came back the next day with the cash to buy the car in full. It was so perfect for me. I already have the 1969 Blue Firebird, the 1979 Blue Trans Am, and now the Blue 1999. Now I have to find a 1989 to complete the set of one for each generation.
