Getting the cars ready for a meeting. I think I need a larger garage!

They are not really all mine!!

My 79 Trans Am after I added Recaro seats, and the overhead Panasonic cockpit unit.

The door handle has Recaro T/A, the door magnet has our sponsor, Longpre Pontiac.

My MSE Trans Am inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a car show.

Some of our members, including my MSE, out for a Sunday drive.

A Western States event called "Trans A Rama" This one was held in South Lake Tahoe. We had over 120 Trans Ams attend this gathering. The white car in the front belonged to a friend, Bert. The car had special front and rear fenders, molded out with the front spoiler. It was made in Huntington Beach CA, by a company called Pacific Industries. The car was called a "Pacific Am". Behind our cars is one car from each year. Starting with a Blue 1970, and ending with Blue 1983. During our stay up there, we had 78 Trans Ams in a caravan, circle the lake. We had so many cars, that we didn't even have to stop for red lights, we just all continued to drive. I have some video of that drive, I was the forth car in the caravan, and we took some great pictures of the cars behind us, as my partner stood up and took the pictures through the T-Tops.

A better look at Bert's Pacific Am at a Pontiac Oakland Car Show.  Check the front and rear fenders, the Pacific Am car had replacement fenders made of fiberglass, and extended out like the Trans Am Racing cars.  The rear tires are the larger profile ones to fill out the fenders.  If I remember right, only two of these cars were made by Pacific Industries.  Hey Bert, if you see this, email me.  I haven't seen or heard from you since we left the club

Here is Burt next to a real racing Fire Am by Herb Adams.  This picture was taken at on of the Trans Am races the club attended.  To the right is the Pontiac only entrance, where the mobile home is entering.  Parked on the right is a black Fire Am, with the Fire Am logo on the sail panel.

Black and White Photos of club members at a Trans Am event.  The black Fire Am is on the right, and I think a Macho Trans Am on the left.

It didn't get better than this!

Pontiac brought this car out for one of the events.  It was going to be the next Super Dudy, but it never made it.  Check the wide fenders on the Trans Am.

The Motor

Now here is something you will never see again.  This was the Trans Am series race, and what happened on the day of the race.  This was the Trans Am Territory events that Pontiac did for the races.  They would bring out a Motorhome, special cars, and special people out for these events.  And on this day, the greatest event happened.

A Black Recaro Trans Am starts the special field.  Next are two Daytona Pace Trans Ams.

Followed by no less than fifty (50) new Trans Am cars!!

All you could see was a steady stream of Trans Ams.

And the look as they leave the track.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Trans Ams have left the building.
