Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Craigslist? Well, Its a love / hate relationship I guess. Thinking our car buying days were done for a while, I was just looking in June 2011 just to keep up on current trends and prices. And this car caught my eye. I have always liked the 1991 1992 front and rear end covers, and the whale tail from the Formula. The fact that this car claimed to have Paxton supercharger at one time, was very interesting to me. It had 82K, lots of power options, including the power bulge hood, rear spoiler, and nice rims. So off my son and I went to check it out. The car had a Paxton supercharger chip, but the owner had an override chip done since the blower is missing on the car. It ran well, and we both liked it, but we felt it was a little high price wise, with the work that needed to be done. It's in nice shape, but needs a little love and care. We made an offer, but the seller felt it was to low. I upped our offer, but still not enough. So we walked away, but left our offer on the table, and left in good terms with the seller. About two weeks later, the seller called us back. He lowered his price to almost matched ours. So it was up to us now. And since you see the pictures here, you know we did go up a little. My only immediate plans are to get the missing blower, and drive it for now. Any other fixes will be done over the next year or so as time and money permits.
