During the last few months of 2010, my son decided he wanted a bigger project to work on.  He has been doing several small projects, by himself and with a mechanic friend, but he came up with an idea.    We all know that the third generation cars are the slowest, most under powered cars under the F-body name.  The idea, the project to to do?  How about putting a 4th generation LS-1 in a 3rd generation car?  Enter one blown engine, good interior, great bodied Firebird.  My son found this car in northern Los Angeles county on Craigs list.  We towed it home, and now sits waiting for summer of 2011.  We have already located a running LS1 and transmission.  Once my son is out for summer break from college, all time, money and effort will go into this.  Pictures as we move forward.
